This Shipping Policy outlines how Agave Artisan (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes, dispatches, and delivers orders placed through our website, The Naked Margarita.
By placing an order with us, you agree to this policy and acknowledge the relevant delivery timelines depending on whether your order is part of a pre-sale or a standard sale.
2. Pre-Sale Orders
Certain products are released for pre-sale prior to official availability. These pre-sales are clearly marked on the product page at the time of purchase.

By purchasing a pre-sale item, you acknowledge and agree that delivery will take place within 10 weeks from the date of purchase.

Estimated dispatch and delivery dates are provided in good faith and may vary slightly depending on production and logistics.

Payment is taken at the time of purchase to secure your order.

You will receive a confirmation email upon ordering and a separate notification when your item has shipped.
Please note: Pre-sale orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced, unless required by law (e.g., for faulty goods).
3. Standard Orders
For all other purchases, unless explicitly stated as pre-sale, we treat these as standard sales.

Standard orders are typically processed and dispatched within 2–3 working days of order confirmation.

Once processed, delivery usually takes up to 48 hours (two working days) for UK mainland addresses.

During peak seasons, public holidays, or promotions, processing times may be slightly extended — we’ll always communicate if that happens.
4. Delivery Partners and Coverage
We use trusted national couriers (such as DPD, Royal Mail, or equivalent services) for all deliveries.

We currently deliver to addresses across the United Kingdom (mainland only).

We do not deliver to PO boxes, BFPO, or addresses outside the UK unless otherwise stated.

Deliveries must be received by a person aged 18 or over, in compliance with the Licensing Act 2003. Proof of age may be required on delivery.
5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are displayed at checkout and depend on your delivery address and order size.

From time to time, we may offer free delivery promotions — any such offers will be clearly advertised.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information (where applicable).
Tracking links allow you to follow your parcel’s progress directly with the courier.

7. Missed Deliveries & Re-Delivery
If no one is available to receive your delivery:

The courier may leave a card or email with re-delivery or collection instructions.

If the parcel is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts, we may charge for re-delivery.
8. Lost or Damaged Parcels
We take great care to ensure your order arrives safely. However:

If your order is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery or expected delivery date.

Provide your order number and (if applicable) photographs of any damage.

We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
9. Address Accuracy
Please ensure your delivery address is entered correctly at checkout.
We cannot be held responsible for delays or lost orders caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.

10. Delays Beyond Our Control
Occasionally, delivery may be delayed due to circumstances outside our control (e.g., courier delays, extreme weather, strikes, or customs issues).
In such cases, we will update you promptly and work with our partners to resolve the issue.
11. International Shipping (Future Updates)
We currently ship within the UK only, but plan to expand international delivery in future.
When international shipping becomes available, we will update this policy with full details of applicable costs, customs, and timelines.
